Each of our stud dogs has been carefully selected for their exemplary health, wonderful temperament, and strong working capabilities. We pride ourselves on the quality and characteristics they pass on to their offspring, ensuring strong, healthy, and intelligent puppies. Our stud process
At Saltwic Country Dogs, we adhere to a meticulous, ethical and transparent stud process. We ensure that our stud dogs undergo key DNA health screenings and have verifiable pedigrees. Our goal is to produce healthy, well-adjusted puppies that embody the best qualities of their parents. We are transparent about our methods and happy to discuss any aspect of our breeding programme with prospective clients.
Bineswych Billy
Bineswych Billy's the eldest of our stud dogs. He is KC registered and comes from a strong bloodlines that boasts 41 FTCh in the previous 4 generations. He has sired 2 litters already and also has another on the way.
He has shown a strong natural ability from a young age and he is predominantly used to beat, hunt and flush, which he does very well. He regularly gets compliments for his work rate and how well he does his job. He is the steadiest of our working dogs and will hunt close or at length as the terrain/drive dictates. He is responsive to whistle commands and has excellent recall. Although he is used primarily for flushing, he will at times pick up when asked to. He works extremely well on his own, as part of a team of up to 3.
When he isn't working he is relaxed and extremely chilled out and loves affection. He has a very kind, biddable temperament, but isn't a pushover with other dogs if they become too much for him.
When you meet Bineswych Billy his eyes will melt you to your soul when he gazes into your eyes. He is a handsome boy who will be 3 in May 2026. He has a very kind soul, yet is extremely stoic, hard working and does not stop until the working day is done.
Saltwic Alden
Saltwic Alden is one of Bineswych Billy's offspring from the first litter we bred and is also KC registered.
Saltwic Alden is currently used for beating, however we are looking to move him onto picking up duties as his natural go to is collecting toys/dummies and bringing them to us. As we build a picking up team, he will be a key addition as we feel working on their natural strengths is vital for a happy working dog.
He currently works well on his own and hunts well. He is still learning, but is attentive and is quick to learn.
When he is not working he will mix with the rest of the team well, plays well and when he needs will take himself away to be on his own. He does enjoy human interaction and will come for cuddles when he wants them.
